The Āman Boutique is conceived as a quiet embodiment of the brand’s
serene, refined character. Stillness guides the plan, material palette, and
light. Products are edited and given generous negative space so each
piece feels deliberate and rare. Seating and service touchpoints remain
discreet to support unhurried conversation and care.
This is not a conventional shop. It is a calm retreat that invites reflection,
slow engagement, and considered selection.

This showroom was designed to reflect GUBI’s unique balance of modern
sophistication and timeless aesthetics. The spatial layout encourages
exploration while showcasing GUBI’s furniture and lighting collections in a refined and immersive environment. Materials, lighting, and circulation were carefully considered to enhance both function and atmosphere.
The result is a space that translates GUBI’s philosophy into a physical experience, connecting classic elegance with contemporary living.

This exhibition begins with Tarō Okamoto’s refusal of comfort. When
asked his profession, he answered, “I am a human being who is living life
to the fullest as a human.” From that stance comes his idea of designing
furniture that is intentionally uncomfortable, so we do not idle away time
in everyday temptations.
The exhibition forms as a home with four essential rooms: a living room,
kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Select works and basic instruments
are paired in each room to disrupt the monotony and encourage the
active use of his furnitures.

“Let’s Get Twisted with TWIST Gin” is a Pop-Up that brings the distillation
process to life through form and sequence. A spiral core anchors the layout while a circular path leads visitors through the experience.
Each zone reveals a new layer of aroma, sound, and light. The looped
logo reinforces the idea that quality comes full circle. At the bar, recipe
cards invite guests to put a twist on classic cocktails featuring TWIST.

Designed for Grown Brilliance’s Soho flagship, this chandelier frames beauty as evolving knowledge. For centuries, people recognized seven wandering lights, until the discovery of Uranus in 1781 expanded the map of the sky. The cosmos did not change. Our understanding did. In the same spirit, lab-grown diamonds do not replace natural stones. They extend the idea of luxury through sustainability and innovation.
Fifteen spheres reference the shift from seven to eight planets. Balanced as a mobile, the piece links tradition and progress, inviting viewers to see value not as fixed but as shaped by curiosity and discovery.
